Democratic governor NY Gov. Eliot Spitzer campagined on moral decency- got caught with whores & promptly resigned.
Other Dems have not been so self-righteous, so the backlash aginst them as been "eh" at the worst, except for Newt's clintonian witch hunt.
Recently though, you've got Oliver North writing about howlacking in morality Obama is because he won't voice support the popular uprising in Iran. This is from the man who sold Iran 1,000 hand held missiles to the Iranian Extremist regime.
Rush- railing aginst drug addicts- whicle misusing or even dealing- large quantities of illegally prescribed drugs.
Then there's: Foley, Vittner, Ensign, Sanford, Newt, Haggard, Swaggart, Guliani, Chesworth, Bunn Bolton, Barr...Etc.
It's not that Dems. don't do the same thing, it's that Dems. don't throw the stones or act or self-righteous about "God-fearing family values."

Both Ensign and Sanford were in Congress and voted in favor of the articles of impeachment.
