The Villages builds these family neighborhoods to provide a place for people who work in the community to live. These family neighborhoods are not connected to the rest of the Villages by MMPs and the residents do not have access to the amenities.
Will there be children with green hair mocking you as you dance in the squares? Possibly but the squares are and have always been public property.

Actually, some of the family (small) neighborhoods are connected by MMP to the rest of the Villages as I understand (very, very large) Middleton will also be connected. It will be a fine balancing act to keep the Villages as a retirement looking community with this large influx of young people also living in a place called the Villages. As I don't have a say in these changes, I would hope that our current lifestyle isn't impacted in a negative way. Go with the flow and hope for the best.
