I wonder how The Villages would have fared if the eye of the storm came ashore directly west of us and traveled directly over The Villages. Would the water management system prevented flooding?
Many of the golf courses would have flooded... Which is part of the water management system,. Better to flood a golf course than flood hundreds of homes...
