Any damage to your property?

Woke up at my usual 4am, winds still prevail, but didn’t lose power, and internet intermittently on and off. Winds will keep us inside, but what sunlight is available will report the rise of our pond, and any visible damage. We are Canal and Odell Circle. So those who are new we are South of LSL, Near Seabreeze Regional.
Hope everyone has good reports, looks like we were very lucky.

Phewwww! We dodged an Ian bullet, prayers for those in the path.

In South area. All seems ok.

I am happy to have my view of the gulf waters in Hudson return after Ian with no damage at the condo and the house in Lake Deaton.

Looks like we lucked out and it fizzled faster than expected. Those on the SW Coast are definitely in a hurt locker, but we managed to dodge another bullet.

All is well South of the Turnpike

Watching convoys of Duke energy trucks head out from their staging area on 470 to start repairs to the east.

"Duke Energy is staging more than 2,000 utility trucks with 6,000 workers on an 80-acre site in The Villages to respond to outages throughout Florida. Utility companies from other states and Canada are assisting Florida line personnel. "

Distict 11 , Pine Ridge. Power fine and pond behind us less full than after Irma. Never seemed to have excessive winds or real heavy rain. Looks like we got around 6" since Tuesday.

Whew, after much concern overnight the neighborhood here looks okay.

My bush survived the night. "We've got bush!" :duck:

The pond behind me here on Palmetto Golf Course looks great!

asianthree 09-29-2022 07:59 AM

No palm fronds, or shingles anywhere in sight. The pond which maybe close to 1.5 acres or larger, is about 1’ higher than 8am Wednesday.

After Irma the pond was at the top of berm, close to spilling onto the road, adding 10 plus feet of water, plus both of our tunnels were under water. Can’t get to the rain gage until wind stops, but I am sure someone will post rainfall soon

We are very fortunate the storm turned more Easterly last evening which took much of TV out of harms way.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the very many who were/are not as fortunate.
