Thank you all for your posts..People are wondering how I found out about the lung cancer... Well, I was a smoker but really had no other symptoms. Play alot of pickleball and got out of breath as anyone else who plays in 85 degree weather!!! Just went to see my dr., Dr. Angel Tafur for an annual physical..When he heard that I was still smoking he had me go for a chest x-ray...that's where the cancer was spotted.. I thank Dr. Tafur so much for having me have that chest x-ray. I know a few of my friends who are smokers that have never had an x-ray on their chest....I'm just one of the lucky ones who caught the cancer very early and all other tests show that the cancer was contained and has not spread anywhere
I'll talk more with my surgeons this Thursday but it appears that no other treatment will be needed...This was a tough way to quit smoking but as of today I have been a non-smoker for 26 days...YEAH!!!
