From what I understand this ormicron variant is causing very few hospitalizations and deaths. The numbers are much different than the annual flu. I think that if that were the case with the first two variants it wouldn’t have been such a big deal. After what we went through in 2020 and 2021 just the mention of Covid sends some people into a panic. All Covid is not the same.
