The model number of the dishwasher is GDT665SSN2SS. I'm thinking that there are quite a few of these around these parts and I'm curious to know if others are having problems too.
Any input here would be helpful since GE wants $125 min. to show up and who know what that pump is going to cost. The decision is repair the current one or replace it.

May just be something in the pump like a piece of bone etc. Should be a grill over it at bottom of compartment that you can snap off and clean out. Houses with Samsung have longer warranty if 3 or more appliances are Samsung. Ask GE if that rule applies to them as well.
