1. JUDGMENT AT NUREMBURG: One of the best movies ever made in my opinion; not just because of Burt but because of the other cast members. His portrayal of Ernst Janning was nothing short of brilliant. You could really feel the emotion.

2. FIELD OF DREAMS. His portrayal of Dr. Archibald ("Moonlight") Graham, though the part was pretty small compared to the other parts in the movie, was great. My reason for liking it so much is sort of personal: what most people didn't know is that even though all the rest of the people in the movie were obviously fictitious, Dr. Graham was a real person who actually did practice medicine in Chisholm, Minnesota--less than an hour from where I was born and raised. A lot of the personal stuff presented in the movie regarding his philanthropy, the esteem in which the townspeople held for him, was accurate as well.
