Despite all the glowing comments posted on TOTV by patients who say that while the ER is a disaster once you are admitted the care is wonderful... the CMS survey of patients done after discharge shows a very low satisfaction score and that fewer than half those surveyed would recommend the hospital to others.
I basically agree with the statement about the ER vs. after admittance. We found that to be true. But there never seems to be beds available and my wife spent the night on a gurney in a hallway before being brought in for urgent surgery. It was kind of a third-world-country experience. That is not going to get a satisfactory score from most people. The surgery was excellent I must add.
