What a thrill to see Ringling Brothers & B.B. on a screen that size. One of my all time top movies, due to the incredible way it was able to produce a stark warning of what communist socialism really is, against an "innocent" and mesmerizing love story, exactly what Pasternak had to do to get the truth out. Another all time favorite book and movie is The Last Emperor. Guess I also have to add Lawrence of Arabia to that list, learn something new each time I view that one, and same with Dances with Wolves. "Epic" is the perfect adjective for such films !

The casting assistant director for
Saving Private Ryan
is the daughter of a Villager. Or was back in mid 2000s. They might have moved.
I sure thought it was much better than
Shakespeare in Love.
Shakespeare in Love won for Best Picture.
