As noted above, remove the bottom cover plate, 2 or 3 screws. You should find a connector, with either 2 separate connectors or a single connector with 2 wires (blue and white). The lamp assemblies are typically standard (Lowe's, Home Depot), however, check that the connector is the same as what is installed in your house.
Also, you will probably need to remove the existing fan to connect the BLUE wire to the BLACK hot wire. If you are lucky, there will be room to get to the wires without removing the existing fan. Our house had an additional RED wiring from the wall switch, if you have this then you can connect the BLUE wire to the RED wire, and at the wall switch change the existing switch out to a dual unit, now you can control the fan from one switch and the light from the other. We did this on all 4 or 5 fans in our house.
