That discount, announced last year by President Trump and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, allowed seniors who sign up for an enhanced Medicare plan to receive a 30-day supply of insulin for $35. The discount requires seniors to join a Medicare drug plan (Part D) or Medicare Advantage Plan (with drug coverage) that participates in the insulin savings model, so only those individuals who are willing to pay for the enhanced coverage were eligible to receive the $35 price cap.
Can I ask how you think he caused them to go up before going down? Always interested to hear other perspectives!

I'm personally not here to argue about Trump or Biden...that never gets us anywhere....

My point is that people have lower cost alternatives that some might not know about...not limited to just insulin...more and more are being added to CPD, as well! I just thought it was a good alternative to mention I hope you're enjoying your weekend!!!!
Thanks for your reply and take care!
My point was that insulin prices we already capped at $35/month. Then, that exec order was rescinded, which caused them to go back up to their previous highs for a year, until they went back down to $35/month.

Neither plan would have/will actually "fix(ed)" the costs for everyone.

But the current "boasting" of "look what we did!" is just more of "the same as it ever was"...
