Lived in Tn, Az, Oregon, Pa, Ca., Kansas, and Nebraska. Also besides humidity, Fl. is closer to the Equator than say Tn. and believe me I could tell the difference. Felt much hotter at the same temperature in the sun of Fl. The sun IS more intense. Actually, I have been to Nashville and it can feel HOT in the summer. The feeling of HEAT can also be affected by altitude and also population density.
