The data shows For most golfers 7 wood worked the best, more accurate and longer shots (fewer misses). 4 hybrid came is second. Many tour pros are using 7 woods.
5 wood was preferred over 3 wood due to launch height and fewer misses.
Some pros occasionally use a 9 wood, Dustin Johnson for one.
