I was just browsing in the "clean" area where there is a thread concerning joining the political forum: there is a post there that said many bad things about this forum and one of the charges was that it was racist !

Does anyone on either side of our discussions agree with that ? Have we reached the stage here in this country that if you criticize a black man, then you are racist or vice versa ?

I have not seen anyone alluding to race...I have seen folks talk about Rev Wright, but then again there was talk in here during the campaign about Sen McCain and his minister !

Must we be so doggone "politically correct" that we worry about the color of anyone's skin ?

One time during the campaign I received a PM calling me a racist....and a few times here in public on the board I was called a racist. It does not bother me because there is nothing further from true, but if we need to be so sensitive to the color of a mans skin then we are not making gains in this country....we are, at best, treading water !!!
