It has always been a celebration on the native side of the family. For the last 22 years We celebrate summer solstice, with sunrise, breakfast, picnic lunch, sunset, dinner, and Birthday cake. It’s our granddaughter’s birthday. She thinks born on summer solstice is as special as leap day.
