As to the complaints of others who have responded to your post, I guess we are fortunate. Our mowing, pest, and lawn services charge us the same amount as they do our neighbors. As with all neighborhoods in TV, we have lots of dog walkers; however, we have no problem with them picking up after their dogs. Such problems often arise from being anonymous. Invariably, dog walkers follow the same path. Take a moment to walk out to the street, introduce yourself, and it is likely you will not have a problem.

The best advice when considering any house or lot in TV is to avoid a street with a double yellow line as they are the "through" streets with a high-volume of traffic with people who are not your neighbors. Save yourself some time when looking at listings on The Villages >homefinder or the MLS, and watch out for double yellow streets.

I would prefer to be on a cul-de-sac because I have an overly keen sense of hearing and smell. On the high-traffic streets, the older Golf carts (especially the ones with jacked up governors) are both LOUD and REEK of unburned gasoline.
