Although I suspect the OP’s issues were probably not caused by snowbirds, the migration has begun. Simple way to tell is to check the price of flights to/from Orlando from the Northeast. Midweek flights cost approximately three times as much to Orlando as the do from Orlando. Lots of very full planes heading in the Villages direction and lots of room available on the planes going north.
