I totally second this. Anytime a homeowner comes to me at Pike's Electric, for the price of light kits, switches/controls, etc. by the time you total all of that, you can get a higher grade quality fan with a light kit included for the price in a different finish or style. I help new and long time Village homeowners find another product, especially if the fan is 5+ years old. I have seen the standard indoor white construction fan though last as long as 10 years + sometimes.
