I think you are right. The lights look great, from an architectural viewpoint, but I live in a courtyard villa in a lovely neighborhood where the outside lighting is mostly just the pole lamps in the front yard. I would NOT want my neighbors installing lighting like this where it could shine in my windows. I have neighbors about fifty feet away who have a small motion-activated security light in their back yard that comes on now and then, but it only stays on for a few seconds. As it is, we have so much light pollution that we can hardly see any stars. When was the last night when you could see the Milky Way?
