It is worth having the dicussion with an appropriate resource. Sounds like he may have some rights based on the extend of relationship, what did he contribute financially (or not) to the relationship and home upkeep and nornal home expenses. Suggest to not rush as a crisis to evict him based on the heirs desires. Your looking at the tip of the iceberg, need to assess what is below. Keep us posted as we all wish the best outcome.
