There are 14 lakes, YES, LAKES within 5 miles of the Villages. Many more in the surrounding areas. You should get out and explore some of them. Beautiful! Lake Sumter, Lake Miona, Lake Denham, Lake Deaton, Lake Okahumpka to name a few.
