I am now having my attic sealed in such a way that when the last bat flies out there is a trap door that prevents them from re-entering. Massey suggested that I inform my neighbors, because once the bats can no longer enter my house they start to look for other homes. And in Florida bats are protected in the summer! Natalie Scott, with Massey, gave me her direct number 228-341-1918, suggesting that I contact my neighbors and recommend they contact her or their pest control company. So, let me emphasize, I am not benefiting from any of the above.
We had bats in our hunting camp up north, we left bright LED lights on in the attic, came back in two weeks and they were gone, that's all it took to get rid of them.
