My brother's mother-in-law smoked a corncob pipe. She lived to age 99, very active until just a few months before she died, and had a mind as sharp as a tack the whole time. Not a bad record. I wonder how long she would have lived not smoking? As kid we smoked grape vines and realized very quickly not smart thing to do.
