I'm not sure how you will find it and us. I am in my eighties and many of my friends are as well and not as physically active as we once were but many of us enjoy the socializations at the rec centers and square and some of us are very good at music and art and debate. I am sometimes impatient with some not well covered indifference toward, and outright avoidance of people who are the most senior here in The Villages, but I have found genuine interest and warm enjoyment from many of the young people who live and work here. They seem to think I am amusing, and I like to think they believe me to be kind of wise as well.
I see that you do have two qualities that are needed at any age; restraint and good manners. I wish you happiness and hope you find it here or whereever you choose to be. I would have thought you would have had a job secured here before you moved, so I am prejudging you a little bit. Big fan of the work ethic me and folks of my age.
