Maybe.. but i am more on the Brian Lee side with internal politics, career/money outcomes, and versus visibility and fame/legacy, and some who like tradition because they are precedents by another name, with an excuse for failure. .

Politics will always transcend across all genres. It’s not always about who’s the most deserving....it’s about storylines. Take WNBA....last years All Star top vote getter had about 90K votes....this year, Caitlin Clark, over 700K....even Angel Reese got 360K....both left off the USA Olympic team....because the hacks at USA basketball have to give 70 yr old Diana Taurasi her ‘flowers’ in her sixth appearance. Forget about growing and integrating the future of the program. We gotta give these Bob ‘pink eye’ Costas’ of the world a feel good nausea fest on the telecasts!
