I came from okieland summers approached 115, had hot point fridge in garage and freezer for 20 years outside heat had no affect on it as long as I left room for ventilation and cleaned coils and fan out regularly. Problem most don’t clean out coils and fan and fridg/freezer sets there and overheats due to no air flow over coils to cool down and compressor burns up. My nearly new Maytag refrigerator compressor when out just after warranty. I brought hot point back in house till I moved and junked Maytag.
