Those beautiful live oaks covered with Spanish Moss sure do make a mess during heavy winds.
Same here in DeLuna, south of 44, our huge preserve behind our postal station/pool is a lake now with water almost up to the top of the 8 ft high wall that surrounds it. Wild! We also had some branches fall on several roofs of homes that are next to oak and pine trees near the power lines. Those of us with just two year old landscaping had no damage and very little debris to clean up.

Down the street at WaterLily rec center a huge oak was uprooted and landed on outdoor fitness equipment. That’s a mess!

The new disc golf course on the Hogeye path is underwater again, but even worse than it was with TS Debby. Some uprooted oak trees and/or huge branches from the trees are littering the Hogeye path.

The craziest video I saw though was the Lake Sumter Landing boardwalk being underwater. WOW!

I wish all of you the best in your clean up efforts. Hopefully it’ll be speedy.
