Contact the district (probably SLCDD but maybe VCCDD or your numbered CDD) and ask how you can make a payment to cover your portion of the unexpected expense to clean up from what was essentially a storm here, like any storm. If you really want to feel good about it then pay my portion as well.
Doesn't sound right to you but apparently sounds right to the local district, County, State, and FEMA.
