My wife and I tried the Tap House where we both had their fish and chips. The fish slice was around 1/4" thick and hiding in the crunchy beer batter coating. It wasn't long before my plate was covered in grease (and I mean "very" greasy). The fries had an unusual taste and were mushy. The cost with tip was $48.56.
Did we complain to the management? No, we simply ate and left. Perhaps we'll go back and have something else, but I do miss O'Brady's where I didn't need to take out a loan to get a cheeseburger. One thing in the Tap House favor is they had numerous servers and we didn't have to wait for one to take our order. Right now I believe this place is a novelty. Will it survive, well that remains to be seen. The restaurant business is always a gamble.
