Be careful as to whom you sell it & if you don’t meet the Federal requirements to own it, you could be incriminating yourself (I have seen that happen; any restraining Orders, even mutual in a divorce & other personal prior issues can make you ineligible to own a firearm other than a black powder gun).
Keep the bill of sale for at least 20 years; that firearm can be traced back to you if used in commission of a crime years later.
