I took my 4 year old grandson on opening day. I loved the original also, but haven't seen it in years. We BOTH loved the remake of the movie. As I watch old movies, my current thoughts and feelings question the movie. Even though I loved the original, I want remakes to put more modern attitudes in place. Disney did a great job with this. For instance, in the remake, Snow White was a strong leader and thinker. She worked with others to resolve her conflict with the evil queen. I am anxious to rewatch the original and plan to with my grandson soon,
