This is the way to go. A repairman will cost just to look at it and tell you you need a new one.then charge you $150 for the part. 3 screws and a plug sounds cheep and easy. If it does not work return the part to Amazon. The only other thing would be if the water line is frozen where it comes into the interior of the freezer, A hair dryer will fix that. Also look here
