My Dad's eye doctor contacted the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles without telling us and had his driver's license revoked. I or my Mom did the driving after that until prudence told us that her Alzheimer's had taken away any good judgement she had to drive any kind of vehicle. I or a Right at Home worker needs to drive her places now . We have had some great Right at Home workers. A few bad ones here and there but they have a large enough group of home care workers that if one does not fit our needs we can often get a replacement within a few hours. Not always though.

We did change eye doctors. My Dad was blind in one eye his eyesight was getting worse. I still think the eye doctor should have mentioned she was going to contact the State of Florida and have his driver's license pulled.
