So CT scan showed a stone, and ER guy says it might pass on its own, or have it removed?

Was it suggested to drink plenty of water? Did he recommend a urologist, so we can send the CT scan for further review? Little surprised he used “remove it” because if that was the case your consultation should have already be in the works. Or at least a consultation with a urologist, in case a Lithotripsy (minor procedure to breakdown the stone), might be needed. Stones are very common ED visits, both departments should be well versed especially late at night.

Hopefully this stone will be a one and done. Or you may end up being a repeater, which is more common than you realize.

Sorry for me both ED’s were a swing and a miss.
