Have the love the over generalization. All we "know" is that in the
ONE instance described by the OP,
ONE practitioner made what most of us consider a bad decision. It does not mean
ALL practitioners at
ALL encounters.
From my perspective, that
ONE physician needs to earn about 10 CME credits in the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of renal calculi, but that
DOES NOT mean they
ALL do.
