They never replace the valve body which unless it's cracked because that's a big job to cut the PVC and install a new one so they just replace the internal parts which can be anywhere from $6 for the Diaphragm to $11 for the selenoid. Lowes has these parts. But the guy is in business so he needs to make money which is fine so next time your HVAC guy comes and charges you $100-$200 to change your $60 capacitor, no complaining.
