PINK pipe, is "furniture grade" pipe, and typically used for "decorative" purposes. It is not a standard color for irrigation or anything else.

Anyone who uses the phrase "in all of The Villages ....", needs to get some more experience in TV. Things change all the time. Construction, materials, restrictions, etc.
Purple/pink pipe is used by the villages for recycled non-potable irrigation water.
