That specific house, plus scroll down and you'll see a list of homes in the vicinity. Most of the ones in the Hammock are listed as being in Lady Lake.

The search result page itself has Lady Lake > Sumter County as the filters.

And when I sign up for certain things online, and have to put my address and say Lady Lake, FL, it will often require me to check on a drop-down and select Lake or Sumter county.
You are STILL referring to the mailing address. YES, the 32159 zip code is handled by the Lady Lake, FL post office and so a mailing address of
xxx Hickory Head Hammock
Lady Lake, FL 32159
will work.

According to Sumter county tax collector and property appraiser, an address of
xxx Hickory Head Hammock
The Villages, FL 32159
ALSO will work.

Notably, when you purchase that house you will pay Sumter County transfer taxes and at the end of the year you will pay Sumter County property taxes. There are Villages homes in the 32159 zip code that are within the municipality of Lady Lake. THOSE homes pay a far different set of property taxes than the Hickory Head Hammock home.

If the Hickory Head Hammock home was in the municipality of Lady Lake is it at all conceivable that Lady Lake would not take their cut of property taxes?

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
Confirmation bias is real; I can find any number of articles that say so.
