With the election of Obama, I think we have witnessed what the Progressive Democrats of America thought would be a perfect storm to get many of their issues passed into law. Not all Dems are members of the Progressive Party, but most members of the Progressive Party have Democratic Party roots, IMHO. I just think what many in this country are identifying as "socialist" causes are actually Progressive causes.
