And I am going to be truthful. We in TV are affluent, but not in the sense of money. Since we have become Villagers, we have seen that those of us that live there are of higher conservative values then most places. Doesn't matter if you live in Bridgeport or Bonita, we want a better life and strive to do better then most. We are still the generation, that wants to better themselves and not just except things. We want things to be of good quality and that is why we choose to live with and honor the deed restrictions/covs/rules. We have respect for each other. We take responsibility.
That is one of things that is great about TV. You have many choices to home style, size etc, but we are all one, and share the same interests, facilties, clubs, etc. Money really doesn't matter in TV, or JMHO!
So yes, we in TV are better then the rest!!!

Army guy, you summed up our feelings and values perfectly. Perhaps I misrepresented myself. We are not poor but we are frugal. About the rules and restrictions: We live in a neighborhood that is semi-country with mixed incomes and ages. Unfortunately, there are some who have no respect for their neighbors and have taught their children that they can do no wrong.
It is very sad to talk to some young parents. Maybe it is the part of country where we live(Northeast) but it seems that real values are not passed down from generation to generation anymore.
Anyways, we are caring people and love children but feel that we want to spend what time we have left in an age- restricted neighborhood. We have been to a few, including Arizona, and we are convinced that the Villages are for us. We are anxious and nervous as we have lived in the same State all our lives. But after our visit last year, there is no doubt where we belong. TOTV people are number one!!!
