That is great info. I did not know there were aluminum stairs. As a child my Dad had attic stairs and they scared me. I weigh even more now. The only thing I think of is the cost, possibly your life, of a fall from the ladder. As a hospital chaplain I have seen many elderly people die from the complications of a fractured hip.
