LOL...you had quite an adventure, Vinny. Cart paths on golf courses are used by those playing golf only...here and on any course. It's for safety, you could get hit by a ball. Even if one is a member of any golf course, you can't ride the course if you're not playing. It's distracting to those who are golfing and can disrupt the normal "flow" of the game.
Around here, golf carts really don't have the right of way, though some who drive around, feel they do. While waiting for a cart to pass seems a nice thing to do, it does cause problems at the gates with automobile movement.
I know what you mean about being a nicer person...lol....it's nice to see everyone waving at another, even if you don't know them. My brother in law came out for a visit last year and I told him that everyone would wave and it would be nice if he waved back....

He did remark how nice it was to see so many friendly people. TV really is a great place to live, isn't it....
