bringing in a new manufactured home
The Villages will allow you to bring in a new home on a lot. It is apparently done frequently to replace some of the single wide models from the 70's. According to Donna Fenster, an agent for The Villages sales office, you can bring one in as long as it fits the lot. I am sure there are specs as to what is meant by "fits the lot." It can be done, though. Or you can build site built on the lot. She said it costs about 16,000 to remove the old one and get permits to set up a new home on a lot.
