We were surprised to find so much sand rather than dirt everywhere in TV. We immediately collect our dogs' stool in the plastic sleeves that come with our Daily Sun newspaper, knot the plastic and place them in a tightly sealed thermal trash can (the can is metal and has a removable plastic pail) with flip top lid that we keep outside in the shade. There is no smell. (If you can't find this kind of trash can then a trash can for disposal of baby diapers should work.) We then empty as often as possible into our regular trash on pick up days. Works for us.
