I have an acquaintance here in the Villages whose wife thought that there was an intruder in the house. She ended up shooting the vacuum cleaner. I guess it shifted after someone put it a way.

I would think that a security level can of pepper spray would be as good as a handgun in most situations you would encounter in the Villages.
