Thanks, DuffysMom, for your kind words, but I'm not picking up dog poop out of generosity!
I do it for the selfish reason of keeping my own dogs safe. Having been in the animal care business for a number of years, I know how detrimental dog feces can be. My dogs are well-loved members of my family, and there's no limit to what I will do to take good care of my companions. Their quality of life depends on me.
