Although I would like to have a shorter path to where I'm going, I don't think it would be fair for the home owners on the route of the shortcut. They paid for privacy and quiet. Having all this traffic going through the neighborhood would **** them off. My house backs up to Triggerfish (a cross road between Buttonwood Run And Pennecamp) At the moment, with all the construction in the area the road is busy and noisy. I would hope once the construction is over, the street will be quieter with most traffic being golf carts. My vote (does my vote count?) is discontinue the shortcut as soon as the construction is over.
