I expected to see something much worse,their rates do not seem any different from rates I and most people pay in company plans.That being said I do see some people in unions still get it free or next to free,In Il we have over 3000 school teachers getting pensions above 100k a year and the get cost of living increases.I think I read the one on the top is getting near 400k now lord only knows if they are also getting insurance on the tax payers dime.And also from what I have been reading it's very common for them to get promotions before they retire to boost their pension,also very common for police and fireman and I'm sure other public employees all at the tax payers expense
