Default You Choose how Dusty Your House Will Be

I know the title is strange, but your choice of how often to dust is entirely up to you. If you enjoy the weather in The Villages and leave the door to you lanai open large parts of the day, your house will be dusty no matter what else you choose to do.

Freeing your house from dust requires closing your house to outside ventilation and installing a good/very good air filter. The most effective with your current setup is probably the "3M Filtrete 2200 MPR Elite Allergen Reduction Filter". Even in bulk purchase they will cost you $25 and they will be incredibly effective so long as you change them monthly and keep the door and windows closed. Better exists with the 3M and competitive 4" filters.

I speak of 3M only because they seem to have a monopoly on HE filters. They deliver a good product at a fair price (and no, I do not work for 3M nor does my pension rely on them). I use the second level of Filtrete filters available from either Home Depot or Lowes. They are advertised as lasting 90 days, but I change every60 days.
